In hindsight, I should have only reduced half of my position. Even though the stock opened higher and closed lower today, the overall trend is still relatively strong. However, because my other holdings were weak this morning, I adjusted the stop-loss level for this stock down to the intraday low without fully reassessing its own price structure and trend. As a result, the stock broke below the low and my automatic stop order was triggered, fully exiting the position.
